Chak De India! When a bunch of girls came together to put India on the global front, the whole country cheered with them. Add to it SRK’s no-nonsense coach avatar and engaging plotline, you’ve a winner! It’s definitely one of the better films on women in sports.

Mary Kom: Before this mainstream flick on the boxer came out, there was not much known about the ace player. But once Priyanka Chopra brought Mary’s battles to the big screen, the boxer became the golden girl of India…and why not! She’s one helluva woman.

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag: As the flying Jatt, Farhan Akhtar played a phenomenal tribute to India’s pride- Milkha Singh. The well-made movies included various nuggets from the sportsman’s life that made a deep impact on us. What about you guys?

Lagaan: The movie that combined India’s two favorites- cricket and Bollywood-was picked up to represent the country at the Oscars. With a British background and rustic setting, paired with amazing songs, the movie marched right into box office collections.

Iqbal: When a disabled, but gifted, boy finds a couch willing to train him in cricket, his luck changes overnight. The movie shows that with grit and determination, anybody can do anything.
