Pakistani actress Humaima Malik who is making her Bollywood debut with Raja Natwarlal says that she still considers Wasim Akram to be a dear friend. It may well be recalled that way back in 2011, Pakistan was abuzz with the news of Humaima Malik allegedly dating the dashing Sultan of swing, Wasim Akram. The link up soon became a matter of concern for Humaima who herself once stated in an interview that it gets embarrassing to be known as Wasim Akram's girlfriend. Wasim, on his part, never acknowledged dating the Pakistani actress. As luck would have it, both Wasim and Humaima have now moved on in their respective lives. While the former cricketer has married again, Humaima today is ardently focusing on her burgeoning film career that she plans to take across the borders of Pakistan. But is Humaima still in touch with Wasim? The actress refused to answer our direct query and instead replied, "Wasim is a very dear friend and he will always remain dear to me." While life on the professional front is looking up for Humaima, the beautiful actress is yet to find her special man in real life. In fact she jokes about the fact that being Emraan Hashmi's heroine, guys would be wary of dating her for the time being. Well, we hope that changes soon for Humaima.
