Television celebs go shopping for Eid

Television celebs go shopping for Eid
Shopping is always an exhilarating experience. Especially when you are talking about the arrival of Eid-ul-Fitr, shopping is no less than a task! As the advent of Eid paves way for exciting shopping, aromatic rich delicacies, humble prayers and thanksgiving to Allah, Tellychakkar.com gets talking to some popular television celebs about their exciting shopping list for Eid this year. Sehban Azim: Eid shopping is always one of the most awaited and thrilling experiences. Especially when my family is around, it is all the more special. There is always a long shopping list since you have to begin from scratch. After a long month of Ramadan, we shop for ourselves, our homes and also our near and dear ones. But this year sadly I am not going home for Eid. So I and brother are all by ourselves. We are planning to shop new pairs of kurta-pyjama and spend Eid bonding over some home cooked Eid delicacies. Nigaar Khan: I honestly didn’t get any time to shop for Eid due to my packed shooting schedule. My brother has come down from Dubai after many years to celebrate Eid with us. So he and Gauahar went shopping and brought me a really pretty suit. And this suit will always hold a very special meaning to me since my siblings have gifted it with a lot of love. I couldn’t really buy any gifts for them but I’ll be giving them Eidi and abundant blessings since both of them are younger to me and are very close to my heart. Zohaib Siddiqui: It might sound really funny but I genuinely haven’t started shopping for Eid. With the tedious shooting hours, I hardly got any time to shop for Eid. But my Mom and Dad have shopped a nice pair of kurta pyjama for me which I plan to don this Eid. Apart from that I haven’t really indulged in any special shopping. Sadiya Siddiqui: I am not really celebrating Eid this year with its usual tham-jham. The most important reason being the Israeli–Palestinian conflict. I think all the innocent people who have been suffering the disastrous consequences of the war should have a right to celebrate Eid and it should mark the end of the war. So Eid this year is going to be subtle and a time of devotional prayer for peace. I have just brought a simple suit for myself and will spend time with my family and close friends. Rakshandha Khan: There was absolutely no need for Eid shopping because I just got married four months ago and every time I open my cupboard I'm engulfed by a mountain of new clothes and jewellery. And since this is my first Eid with both the families together, I am going to receive many more clothes and jewellery. So I am playing smart and saving money for other things. Right now I am spoilt for choice. (laughs). We hope you take down tips from all our popular celebs and shop to your heart’s content this Eid. Tellychakkar wishes you a very happy, prosperous and blessed Eid! Eid Mubarak!
