MUMBAI: On the occasion of Guru Nanak’s 550th birthday anniversary, a great news for all the people in India and Pakistan that the Kartarpur corridor was inaugurated on 9th November 2019. Kartarpur Sahib is located in Punjab, Pakistan and is known as the birthplace of Guru Nanak.  

The governments of India and Pakistan have signed the agreement to open access to the Kartarpur corridor. This has enableed pilgrims and followers of Guru Nanak in India to visit the Gurudwara which is also his birthplace. Millions of followers have been waiting for this momentous occasion and are expressing their happiness. It’s a landmark moment for Sikhs all over the world.

Amongst the multitude of devotees who want to visit the Gurudwara, Mohit Malik from Star Plus’ Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala has also expressed his happiness through a tweet – “Kartarpur corridor peace corridor. Mohit Malik portrays the role of Sikandar in Kulfi Kumar Bajewala which is a show based on the life of Kullfi who comes from a village to Mumbai to find her father and all the ups and downs she faces in-between. Kullfi is shown to have taken after her father and has the voice of a music maestro.
