A lot of you might detest Sayyam of Suhani Si Ek Ladki (Star Plus and Panorama Productions), but the actor who plays the part, Karan Jotwani, is completely different in real life.

The young actor, who rose to fame with Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan, said that he was definitely enjoying playing a baddie, despite it being rather challenging.

“It’s fun as instead of being completely dark, he is grey and has numerous shades. As an actor, it is a great chance for me to prove my versatility. Yes, sometimes I do feel bogged down by the negativity and I really wish I could be detached from my role. I actually envy Ranbir Kapoor. How does he manage to gets out of his characters so easily?”

Interestingly, Karan is quite a positive person in real life and believes in spreading peace all around. “I am someone who lives in the moment, and believes in soaking in vibes and energy from every one. It’s a very short life and I believe that one should spend it happily. I am known as the peacemaker among my friends as I try patching up people who’ve had a fight.”

And finally, stating that he is enjoying the taste of success, the actor said, “I was at a wedding recently and was glad to see people showering so much love on me. They wanted to click pictures and pose with me. It was a special moment.”
