Actor Rajesh Kumar, who is popular for portraying comic roles in various television serials like ‘Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai’, ‘Baa Bahoo Aur Baby’, ‘Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hain’, ‘Pritam Pyare Aur Woh’, is all set to come up with his upcoming film ‘Super Nani’, which will hit theatres on 31 October. When Tellychakkar.com spoke to the actor about playing the role in the Indra Kumar film, Rajesh said, “Television is like doing graduation, while film is like doing Masters.” The actor who seemed to be pretty excited about his upcoming project said that it was a wonderful experience working in the film. “I am grateful to the director for offering me such a chance to work with actors like Rekha, Sharman Joshi and Anupam Kher,” he averred. Talking about his character that of Rekha ji’s son the actor stated, “My character is of grey shade, and is very much relatable. The character starts on a negative note, but later on turns to be positive and then realizes his faults. Since I am known mostly for portraying comic roles, this will be one different role.” Apart from working with Rekhaji, he has also acted with veteran actors like Alok Nath, Apara Mehta, Supriya Pathk in his last television serial ‘Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hain’. Sharing his experience about working with such ace actors, Rajesh said, “You know there are lots of things we can learn from them. There are instances when we overdo a scene, but they are very gentle and composed. They are absolutely wonderful.” When the actor was asked about his plans for Diwali as the festive season is fast approaching, the actor replied that this year he plans to spend his Diwali at home with his family and close ones.
