Mohini becomes latest victim of obsessive fan

Tassnim Sheikh, who plays the charming yet manipulating bahu in the Virani household, has allegedly fallen prey to an obsessive fan. The mystery caller, who calls himself her fan and admirer, has been making life miserable through weird text messages, claims Tassnim, who recently re-entered Kumkum as Renuka. This is not the first time that the actress has gone through this kind of an ordeal. One and a half years ago too, a fan had tried to harass her in a similar fashion and had relented when Tassnim threatened to call in the cops.

Will Anuj say 'Hello Dollie'?

His decision to walk out of Kkusum seems to have already other producers' thinking. Anuj Saxena, who had restricted himself to the lone persona of Abhay Kapoor for a long time, now has offers pouring in, we hear. One of the whackiest offers that has come his way is for a role in Star Plus' Hello Dollie. Dollie, played by Karishma Randhawa, was loosely modeled on the Princess Diaries, but has long since become a fantasy serial for kids. The show's producers deny that they are looking for a romantic interest for Dollie, but how else will Anuj fit into the frame?

Murli Sharma ke karname ab London mein!

Bollywood baddy Murli Sharma (Special Squad, Sea Hawks, Dial 100, Maqbool, Main hoon Naa, Karam) is a big foodie, we knew. But this is a bit too much. When you go to a place like London, first thing that you do is go shopping, but not Murli.. Well, he went around looking for Batata Vada when he was in London last week shooting for Harry Baweja’s Sunny, Amisha starrer! And he actually managed to get hold of some but only after paying four pounds. (About three hundred and twenty rupees). "I was bored of croissants and sandwiches. I couldn’t help it," laughs Murli.

Kruttika gets remarried in ishtyle!

Moulli Ganguly who is one of the child of Priyamvada (Divya Seth) in Zee's Sarrkar, would get remarried in a typical Dil ishtyle. Everyone will make Kruttika feel that her mother got her boyfriend, Rishab (Tarun Khanna) kidnapped. Kruttika tells her mother that she will marry Rishab and thus compel her to ditch plans of murdering him.

Amit Sadh to star in Sony's 'Dulhan'

Amit Sadh, the guy who gave a powerful performance in Star One's Guns n Roses, will be doing KSera Sera productions' Dulhan, to be aired on Sony. The story is about three brothers and their relationship with their mother, played by Kiron Kher. The cast includes distinguished actors like Mahesh Thakur, and is being directed by Aashish Patil. "Dulhan has a very powerful storyline. And finally we have a story about men!" says Amit, who will also be seen in Cinevistaas soon to be aired action drama on SaharaOne.

Kiran Karmarkar unplugged

Kiran Karmarkar, who as Om became a household name with Balaji Telefilms' Kahanii Ghar Ghar Ki has come full circle with Om Agarwal scheduled to get remarried to Parvati after 30 years of marriage after which Om will die in the show, never to return. Kiran started his career with a Marathi serial Dinmaan in 1989 and his first Hindi serial was Safaron Home TV. Where does Kiran intend his career to go once he dies in Kahanii… after the completion of 1000 episodes? No time for ooh, aah, ouch!

Rucha Gujarati, who had been lying low with a bad back for the last 10 days, is back on the sets. Rucha, who was diagnosed with a threatened slipped disc after persistent pain in the lower back, was prescribed complete bed rest. After spending over a week at home, Rucha is back at her shoots since the weekend, partially recovered. "I am better now," she says tentatively, "but I have to take a lot of precautions while working." Besides of course, also try and regulate her working hours.

Jassi gears up for her wedding!

Sony to bring Bankimchandra's novel, 'Durgesh Nandini' to screen

After Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin, Sony is all set to introduce its next do-gooder on screenThis time the lady is going to be called Durgesh Nandini. The show will be an adaptation of famous novelist Bankimchandra Chattopadhyay's first Bengali novel of the same name, published in 1865. The novel has been made into a Bengali and a Hindi film as well. The show will be produced by Shobhna Desai Productions and directed by Vipul A Shah.
