As with every other new year, this year too, reams of newsprint are being used on describing how celebrities are planning to usher in 2009 and what they plan to do in the new year. TellyChakkar decided to take a completely different approach to this theme. We decided to ask people 'What they will not do in 2009, having learned from mistakes this year' While some telestars openly admitted to their mistakes and vowed not to repeat them, others avoided the question by saying 'It is difficult to answer'! Here's a sneak preview into the actors' world and what they do not want to do in 2009.

She was unlucky not to have won L’il Champs 2007 but there is some respite for Vasundhara Raturi as she’s triumphed in Ek Se Badhkar Ek – Chota Packet Bada Dhamaka. The partially blind girl from Delhi and her partner Ayush Tandon have lived up to their favourite tag. Confirming the news, our source from the sets says, “Vasundhara and Ayush have won the contest. They were the most consistent jodi on the show and it was only befitting that they won. Aamir Hafiz and Ahsaas Channa finished second while the pair of Rohanpreet and Chinky finished third.”

All the judges on Indian Idol 4 were asked to reveal what according them would be each other's New Year resolution and the result was most unexpected. Every judge had an interesting New Year resolution to name.

A long running show is always incomplete without a leap which offers new twists and tales to the show. Keeping up with the trend is Star Plus' Sangam. The show is all set to take a leap of six to seven years which means that there will be new entries, an attempt to generate more viewership.

Finally, Shilpa Shinde is out of Maayka . After constant flip flops in the past, Shilpa has finally bid adieu to this Zee TV show. And this time, the confirmation didn’t come out from her. Creative Eye’s head of operation Gyan Bhatt sighs, “Shilpa has quit the show. 28 December was the last day of her shoot. We still haven’t begun the search for her replacement.” Apparently, two girls Garima Bhatnagar and Akangsha Rawat are in the fray to replace Shilpa. After speaking to both girls, it appears that Garima is the favourite to become the next Soni.
