On 25 March 2013, Fremantle Media launched a unique show titled Mission Covershot for Nat Geo. The series is all about the journey of eight amateur photographers who battle it out to get the best shot in the terrain of Sri Lanka. Of course, there’s a panel of judges which include ace Indian director Nagesh Kukunoor and award winning American photographer Ami Vitale. Beautiful and gracious Shibani Dandekar’s seen as the host.

The cast along with the director, held a press conference recently to chat with the media about Aurangzeb, which releases in cinemas worldwide on 17 May (2013). In line with the various promotional events happening in anticipation of the movie, this was truly unique. The theme of the event was inspired by the world of the movie, which is a drama set within the realm of the real estate business.

There have been some major changes in the TRPs this week with a few shows scoring extremely well. Furthermore, the TRPs across GECs have got better this week. Looks like we are recovering from the IPL fever! When it comes to channels, Star Plus maintains its numero uno position with 232 GRPs while Zee TV is perched second with 174 GRPs. Sony TV has climbed one step with 166 GRPs as Colors slipped to the fourth position with 165 GRPs. SAB TV and Life OK maintain their fifth and sixth places with 131 and 123 GRPs respectively. Lastly, Sahara One scored a meager figure of 13 GRPs.

It was a somber Wednesday evening at Sanjay Dutt’s Pali Hill residence when the actor’s incarceration was just hours away. Sanjay Dutt decided to spend the evening with his wife Maanyata and his twins. And contrary to reports on Thursday morning there were no dramatic outbursts from Dutt. According to his friends Dutt was remarkably calm and controlled on the evening before his impending incarceration “In fact Baba was providing comfort to Maanyata Bhabhi who was acutely tense and inconsolable.” Close friends dropped in to wish Dutt goodbye promising to be there for his family.

Invisible is the title of the film that Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt’s most successful protégé Emraan Hashmi would star in, thereby ending speculations in a section of the press about Emraan being in two minds about doing a project for the banner that kick started his kickass career. While Mahesh Bhatt with typical insouciance dismisses the unsavoury rumours and confirms their new collaboration is titled Invisible a source close to the project sniggers, “We really don’t who stands to gain from these reports about Emraan being.
