The sizzling actress who made her television debut with Balaji Kahiin Kissi Roz always had a flair for acting. Rucha who has a Diploma in Medical Lab Technology has an interesting body of work. She has acted in films like Sahebzade, Dancer, Shikari, Hum Hai Kamal Ke. she has also done a serial called Tak Dhina Dhin.

Some of the ads Rucha has done are Levon, Frooti, Fanta, Emami. Rucha was picked up by Ekta to play Kali when she saw her on the sets of Kahiin Kissi Roz.

Rucha got recognition from Kkusum as Kali and after that there was no looking back.

After the Sony show got over she received an offer from Star Plus for Bhabhi and ruled television as Suhana for a year. She has also done a cameo in Star One Shhh… Phir Koi Hai.

As a child artist she had done some flims like Shikhar and Hum Hain Kamaal Ke. After that she took a break and devoted her time to her studies. She was also seen in a few music videos including one of Gurdaas Maan and a Punjabi music video.

Now Rucha takes a step further as she gears up for her new film, Lottery where she acts opposite the first Indian Idol winner Abhijeet Sawant.

Rucha has been born and brought up in Mumbai. She currently lives in the suburb of Mira Road with her family.
