Actor Ankit has shifted to Mumbai to pursue his acting career. He has auditioned maximum number of times at the Balaji Telefilms office. He has been part of shows like Roadies Season 4, Namak Haram, Basera, Shobha Somnath Ki, Ghar Aaja Pardesi. Ankit has also been part of Shahid Kapoor's movie Mausam, is presently seen donning the role of Ashwathama in Star Plus' Mahabharat. He said " I really wanted to see myself working with the Balaji family. I have heard that Balaji Telefilms is the only production house which turns a normal actor into a star overnight. I respect Ms. Ekta Kapoor who has built this empire with her sheer hard work and intelligence. I am now glad that I have got a chance to showcase my acting abilities in Kumkum Bhagya."
