She moved to Mumbai in 2002 to pursue a career in the glamour industry. She started off as a radio host at 93.5 Red FM, anchoring the Breakfast Show. Simultaneously, she began modeling for various brands, doing magazine shoots and ramp shows. After a year, she became a VJ with Channel V, hosting the popular shows, 'Channel V Workouts,' and 'Get Gorgeous.' In 2007, she took part in the Gladrags pageant and won the Gladrags Best Model award. Teejay trained/performed with theatre legends such as Alyque Padamsee and Nadira Babbar. She acted alongside Bollywood’s legendary Helen in 2009. She made her film debut in the hit Punjabi movie, Tera Mera Ki Rishta alongside Jimmy Sheirgill. She is currently a radio presenter on 94.3 Radio One, India's only international radio station, and has also starred in the hit Punjabi film, 'Love Yoou Soniye,' which released December 6th, 2013.
