Romit Raj is 'overwhelmed' with the reaction of his fans on Varun's death in Adaalat

Romit Raj

Loyal fans of Sony Entertainment Television’s court room thriller Adaalat (Contiloe Telefilms) were in for a rude shock recently with the death of Varun, KD’s closest aide. Romit Raj, who essayed the role of Varun had a great on screen chemistry going with the talented actor Ronit Roy (KD). And this sudden twist has simply stunned fans, so much so that they have been bombarding mails to the channel as well as production house to bring back Varun from the dead!!!

Romit Raj who is sitting on the sidelines watching the reactions of his fans is overwhelmed as an actor, and credits his Dada (Ronit Roy) for all the appreciation and fan following that he has bagged today for his character of Varun in Adaalat.

Says Romit, “It gives me immense satisfaction as an actor when there are people who are crying their hearts out at the sudden death of Varun. I am gratified with the kind of mails that I have been getting over the last few days. There are girls who say they have wept quite a lot on seeing Varun’s death. I will have to thank Dada for teaching me every nuance that Varun follows. It is only because of him that Varun as a character has been able to blossom. Also, the creative team has provided the right impact and bond between KD and Varun. This is completely a KD Pathak’s show, but to see the amount of love that Varun gets makes me happy.”

Ask Romit whether he is waiting in the wings for a super-duper comeback in Adaalat, and he states, “You need to stay glued.”

Aah Romit, we do understand that something big is in store for Adaalat viewers!!! Take a hint from Ronit Roy’s recent tweets that read as follows – Ronit Roy @RonitBoseRoy 4 Aug

Yes @RajRomit -Varuns death was sad, but keep watching #Adaalat I may have a surprise for you #sonytv

If this was not enough, Ronit went on to say, Ronit Roy @RonitBoseRoy 15h

Varuns death in #Adaalat!"Aksar, Jo dikhta hai woh Hota nahin aur jo Hota hai woh dikhta nahin ......1/2

At the moment, all that we can say is that, ‘We are waiting for the day when the KD-Varun magic will sparkle again!!!
