A new role, a new avtaar for Karishma

She's remarked as one of the cutest dolls on television post her act in Hello Dollie. She later went on to do shows like Mahi Ve, India Calling and John Aur Kaun. And now Karishma Randeva is all set to play a spoilt brat on Sony's Ek Ladki Anjani Si.

"I play Nikhi's (Shakti Anand) pampered sister Sheena who loves to party. She screams back at anyone who advices her the rights and wrongs. Due to unfavourable circumstances Ananya's (Kanchi Kaul) family looses all their money, so their family starts living with ours," says Karishma has started shooting for this role which she was offered just four days back.

"I wanted to do something different. My character in India Calling is out and out negative but this new role is far from arching my eyebrows. I also liked the concept and the look of this show, besides it's been good fun shooting so far," remarks the actor who is looking forward to meeting her folks in Amritsar in October.

This time around miss Randeva will don a chic, western look, besides she's also got a new haircut (shoulder length short curls) for her new role.

Ek Ladki...has recently gone through some additions and replacements (in case of Meera's character). Let's hope these changes work in favour of boosting the show's TRPs!
