TV lovers who are romantic at heart are having a great time these days. Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar’s onscreen chemistry in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, aired on Sony Entertainment Television, is one thing people are not ready to miss. And with the recent turn of events (read their smooch), audiences have rated them the best onscreen jodi of Indian TV. But are they the only ones? No, don’t get us wrong. But we at Tellychakkar.com feel that there have been many hit jodis prior to this, however they have be missing all the action. In fact, the ardent fans are very curious to see them together again onscreen. Karan Singh Grover- Shilpa Anand: -
Karan Singh Grover played the character of Dr Armaan Mallik in Star One’s Dill Mill Gayye, where his on screen chemistry with Shilpa Anand aka Riddhima was loved by the audiences. But their romance didn’t start right from the first day. They initially could not see each other eye-to-eye, but later on cupid played its role and the two fell in love. Ever since Shilpa Anand was replaced by Sukirti Kandpal (who was eventually replaced Jennifer Winget), the ardent fans of the show have been missing the onscreen chemistry between Karan and Shilpa.
Drashti Dhami- Gurmeet Choudhary: -
Star One’s Geet Hui Sabse Parayi was based on the life of a Geet played by Drashti Dhami. Though people adored watching this beautiful actress essay this character, they had a gala time watching her along with Gurmeet Choudhary, who played her husband Maan Singh Khurana in the series. Their popularity can be calculated from the fact that when the news of the show going off air was announced, fans started visiting the sets of this show. In fact, these die hard fans have been using social networking websites as a tool to get their favorite TV Jodi back onscreen.
Harshad Chopda- Anupriya Kapoor: -
Balaji Telefilms is known for casting just the right kind of actors for its shows; but the high point of its offerings is the awesome onscreen chemistry between the leads. Their Star Plus show Tere Liye added another feather to its cap. The romance between Anurag (Harshad Chopda) and Taani (Anupriya Kapoor) moved many hearts. Though the show didn’t run for a very long period, its followers want this fantastic couple back on the screens.
Sanaya Irani- Mohit Sehgal: -
Both these actors met on the sets of Star One's Miley Jab Hum Tum, where they played the characters of Gunjan and Samrat. The audiences just loved watching their relationship onscreen. Though the series did comeback with another season, the audiences want more. And given that both these actors fell in love shooting for this series, we are sure they too will enjoy coming together in the future again.
Sushant Singh Rajput- Ankita Lokhande: -
Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta is a story about Archana (Ankita Lokhande), who wants a simple and god fearing guy as her husband. She meets Manav (Sushant Singh Rajput) and after a serious of events falls in love with him. The audiences loved watching the two together. In fact, the two actors essaying these characters also fell in love with each other while shooting for this daily. The show has two leaps; in the first leap, Sushant played father to a young child, however, just before the second leap took place, he opted out of the series. He cited better career options as the reason for moving out. Actor Hiten Tejwani replaced him and is doing a good job. However, fans want to see Sushant and Ankita onscreen again.
Kritika Kamra- Karan Kundra: -
Balaji Telefilms’ Kitani Mohabbat Hai aired on Imagine, was a tale of two Arjun and Arohi and had Karan Kundra and Kritika Kamra essaying the characters. Both of them did a marvelous job as actors, however, they could not help falling in love with each other. They make a great couple, we say. Incidentally, when the show went off air, its ardent fans didn’t like it. So by popular demand, Kitani Mohabbat Hai came with a season two. And the audiences loved watching it. But now that second season is off air too, they want to see this young jodi on their TV screens again.
Rajeev Khandelwal- Aamna Sharif: -
Balaji Telefilms provides us with one more TV Jodi that should come together onscreen again. Kahiin To Hoga aired on Star Plus and brought in a fresh Jodi on TV screens. The handsome Rajeev Khandelwal and Aamna Sharif made a good pair onscreen. However, Rajeev was replaced by Gurpreet Singh; he wasn’t able to create the same onscreen magic with Aamna. The fans of this popular Jodi were not happy with this change and wanted Rajeev back in the show.
Harshad Chopda and Aditi Gupta: -
Harshad Chopda and Aditi Gupta essayed the characters of Heer and Prem, respectively, in Star Plus’ Kis Desh Mein Hain Mera Dil. In this show, the leads’ marriage was fixed in their childhood; however, due to some confusion they consider each other to be dead. Though they do meet each other finally, the drama continued. Amidst all this, the chemistry between the lead actors was liked by the audiences. Their popularity was immense, so when the show went off air, people wanted the series to comeback to be able to enjoy their favorite jodi onscreen.
Sharad Kelkar- Supriya Kumari: -
Balaji Telefilms’ show for Colors, Bairi Piya dealt with farmer suicides in Maharashtra. Sharad Kelkar played Thakur and Supriya Kumari played the character of Amoli. Though the show had a unique love story, the audiences loved it. Initially Sharad played a cruel landlord who wanted this poor girl, Amoli, at any cost; but, eventually, this love story became positive. In fact, the viewers loved this show a lot and right from the time it went off air they have been actively propagating for a second season of this daily.
Rati Pandey- Arjun Bijlani: -
This is another onscreen couple from the hit series Miley Jab Hum Tum. The characters of Nupur and Mayank were played by Rati Pandey and Arjun Bijlani respectively. And their chemistry just rocked the TV screens. Though the series did come back with a season two, Rati was missing in action as she was not part of the series. Currently, she is being seen in Zee TV’s Hitler Didi, but the audiences want to see her with Arjun Bijlani again and relive the Miley Jab Hum Tum magic.
Karan Wahi– Jennifer Winget: -
Dill Mill Gayye’s Riddhima and Siddhant had a great chemistry. Though Karan Wahi’s character Siddhant married Riddhima, played by Jennifer Winget, there were a few issues that had to be sorted even after the marriage. Incidentally, they had got intimate on a night and hence had no option but to tie the knot. However, Riddhima still couldn’t get over her first love Armaan (played by Karan Singh Grover). But eventually, they started liking each other. There was a twist in the tale with the character of Armaan coming back into their lives. Overall, this jodi was loved by the fans and want them back again on screen. Incidentally, the couple has many fan pages on social networking website, Facebook.
Yashashri Masurkar- Karan Tacker: -
Star One’s Rang Badalti Odhani brought together Yashashri Masurkar and Karan Tacker together for the first time. In this daily, there were many intimate scenes between the leads. Not only this, Karan’s towel act also got a lot of attention. The audiences surely had a gala time watching the romance between the two characters of Khanak and Shantanu. And now that the show is not on air, audiences want the show to make a comeback so that they can see this Jodi onscreen again.

Yes,Mohit sehgal and Sanaya irani .I still remember what magic they created during MJHT days.In my college girls were crazzzzy after Samrat.Gunjan and Samrat werea hit jodi during those days and MJHT was everyones fav and Star one became sooo popular among youth bcos of MJHT.I miss Monaya,the only good thing is Monaya r together offscreen if not onscreen.I definitely want to see them together on screen.
