Additi Gupta who is best known for playing the female lead Heer in the Balaji Telefilms serial Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil was a student of fashion designing but had to quit the course in between as she was selected for Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil. Currently she plays Pihu in Sanjog Se Bani Sangini.
