As a faculty in the Kishore Namit Kapoor acting school, Anoup Soni had students like Akshaye Khanna, Apoorva Agnihotri, Priya Gill and Manish Goyal. For all who came in late Anoup is a graduate from National School of Drama, the institution which boasts of the likes of Naseerudin Shah, Om Puri, Rohini Hattangady and Surekha Sikri (incidentally Sikri plays Anoup’s mother in Balika Vadhu).
