MUMBAI: Jung Jinyoung is known for essaying his role in Sweet Home 2 and reportedly will join the cast of the Korean adaptation of the Taiwanese film titled  You Are the Apple of My Eye. Earlier, it was revealed that TWICE’s Dahyun would be essaying the female lead role. Well, fans are eagerly waiting to see the sparking chemistry between these two stars.

Well, it was on May 14 that according to a Pinkvilla report a Korean media outlet revealed that Jung Jinyoung would be seen as the male lead star in the Korean adaptation of You Are the Apple of My Eye.

Recent reports have revealed that TWICE member Dahyun is getting into acting with her independent debut film Sprint. To talk about You Are the Apple of My Eye is a 2011 Taiwanese movie which has been directed by Giddens Ko. The film tells the romantic story between Shen Zai who is a focused student and Ching Teng Ko who is a troublemaker. The movie was loved not only in Taiwan but also gained a lot of fame in South Korea. It also got a Japanese remake back in 2018.

To talk about the Korean remake, Dahyun will be seen playing the character of Seon Ah who is a high school model who knows to capture the heart of her male peers from school. Jinyoung will play Jin Woo who is attracted towards Seon Ah as their romance unfolds. The movie shows a cute romance between two young people.
