Jackie is now so protective of that word ‘Bhidu’ that he has gone ahead and filed a case in the Delhi High Court against anyone who uses the word in an unauthorised way. Now, comedian/actor Krushna Abhishek is well known for impersonating the veteran actor in his shows and fans wonder if would still be able to do so.
Krushna’s wife Kashmera has now taken to her Instagram account and shared a picture of Jackie and Krushna and captioned it, “To all the disappointed fans that have been messaging us I just want to tell you all that please understand that IMITATION IS THE HIGHEST FORM OF FLATTERY. Krushna loves #jaggu dada @apnabhidu @krushna30.”
In a recent podcast, Krushna said, “One day, I received a call from Jackie Shroff Dada's secretary about a film called "Pappu Paas Hogaya." They informed me that Kashmera Shah would be my co-star. Excited, as I had seen her song from the film Jungle, "Patli Kamar". I knew of her. On set, the producer had arranged a five-star hotel for Jackie Shroff and Kashmera, while I stayed in a regular hotel. That's where I met Kashmera for the first time. Jackie Dada started teasing both Kashmera and me. Kashmera was the first person who saw me mimic Jackie Dada. Little did I know, I would end up doing many acts on him and earning lakhs.”
