I have a fetish for rings: Manasi Parekh

TellyChakkar caught up with Manasi Parekh, seen as Gulaal in Star Plus’ recently launched show by the same name, to find out about her fashion rules.

Fashion is: Something that grabs everyone’s attention in a good way.

Who chooses your clothes? I shop with my best friend. She is a like a stylist to me.

Do you wear accessories? Yes, I have a fetish for rings. I wear a lot of them. I wear a diamond ring gifted to me by my dad. It’s a white gold, 42-diamond ring.

Do you follow any brands? I love saris from Satya Paul, also Charles n Keith for footwear and Kimaya for western and formal outfits.

Favourite shopping destination: I love shopping in New York. And in Mumbai, I like to shop from all the exclusive boutiques at Hill Road in Bandra.

Most expensive buy: Mostly my husband keeps gifting me expensive stuff, so I don’t have to buy much. Currently, I bought an IPod for Rs 75,000.

Clothes you are comfortable in: I like wearing jeggings (a combination of jeans and leggings), with a nice semi-formal top with a stole around.

Favourite designer: Rohit Bal. I have many kurtis from his label and Surily Goel.

Must-have in your wallet: I never carry money in my wallet. I always carry my cards and Hanuman Chalisa in my wallet.

Favourite perfume: Versace and Bvlgari.

Colour that fills your wardrobe: Black and a lot of multi-coloured stuff.
