No grand sets, no flawless makeup and certainly no cameos by SRK, Rani and Kajol. It would be a setting on the lines of Marathi blockbuster Sairat, but with a happy ending. Say what, folks?

Psychological thrillers: We know that his expertise lies in romance. But he can definitely deliver a psychological flick too. After all, the treatment of his segment from Bombay Talkies made us all sit up and take notice.

Song-less drama: We can already hear Karan gasping at this suggestion. A KJo movie without foot-tapping music? How’s that even possible? Well, now is the time to try it out and prove his critics wrong.

Heroine-oriented movie: Even though his heroines are feisty, bold and stunningly beautiful, they sometime get slotted as mere props.
