Salman Khan, the bad boy of Bollywood!

One of the biggest names in Bollywood, Salman Khan, has been found guilty in a 13-year-old hit and run case where a person was run over by Salman's car. He faces a minimum of six months and a maximum of a ten-year jail term for culpable homicide. As the macho man of Bollywood bids farewell to movies and brands for a while, we trace his other scandals that make him the bad  boy of Bollywood...take a look:

Hit and run case of 2002:

It's the case for which the star has been found guilty. He has been found guilty of culpable homicide as his car ran over and crushed a person sleeping on a pavement in Mumbai. The actor has always denied being behind the wheels, despite the mounting evidence against him.

Aishwarya Rai and the abuse case:

He not only became possessive about his then-girlfriend Aishwarya Rai, but also threatened her with his alleged underground connections. The beauty queen cut off all ties with him, and he continued to harass her on sets and shoots. It was with a lot of difficulty that the now-Mrs Bachchan had to leave her enraged former beau.

Spat with Vivek Oberoi:

He had a roaring spat with Aishwarya's then-lover Vivek Oberoi. It's said that Sallu lost his cool on the newcomer because the Oberoi lad and Ash were getting cosy. Salman allegedly called up Vivek 41 times in one night. The lovelorn Vivek organised a media event, which made enough noise in the country. The two haven't spoken after that debacle and it's not surprising that Vivek'a career has failed to take off in B-Town.

Chinkara poaching:

The actor allegedly poached a chinkara aka black buck, an endangered species, while shooting for his 1998 blockbuster 'Hum Saath Saath Hain'.

Clashes with SRK:

The two stalwarts of B-Town had a huge showdown allegedly over Salman's then-girlfriend Katrina Kaif. Even though the two have never publicly admitted to their fight, there is a clear divide in the industry as Salman's camp and Shah Rukh Khan's camp. It's said that two have buried their hatchet. We wouldn't know that till they make an appearance together.

Remarks about 26/11:

He is said to have remarked to Pakistani media that the attacks were talked about because the 'elites' were  targeted. His exact words being," It was the elite that was targeted this time. Five star hotels and stuff. So they panicked. Then they got up and spoke about it. My question is why not before. Attacks have happened in trains and small towns too, but no one talked about it so much.”
