Another tinsel town relationship has hit rock bottom.

As per reports in Deccan Chronicle, Tamil superstar Rajnikanth's younger daughter Soundarya has filed for divorce from husband Ashwin Ramkumar.

The two apparently have filed a petition for divorce by mutual consent in a family court. However, no official comment has been released yet.

After a four year courtship, Soundarya and Ashwin got married in one of Kollywood’s biggest gala weddings.

Post the initial rosy and sunshine days, the couple hit a rough patch, eventually leading to separation.

Rajinikanth has been trying his best to mend ways and bring the estranged couple together, but to no avail.

Ashwin is an industrialist and Soundarya after her stint as a graphic designer went on to direct India’s first motion capture film, Kochadaiiyaan, starring her superstar father. The couple has no children.
