Ali Fazal who just completed the shoot of Tigmanshu Dhulia’s magnum opus, Milan Talkies, has always been someone who has always helped in every way he could. The actor who is a sports buff helped young kids from Shillong and Lucknow learn more tricks in football and got them ready for the games. He coaches and plays basketball with children near his area whenever he isn’t shooting. The actor has always been extremely athletic but also, very focused on giving back in some way possible.

Taking this good trait, Ali Fazal who is a globally recognized face after his Hollywood debut, Victoria and Abdul, became a huge hit, decided to pay it forward by helping children with cleft lips gain their confidence and smiles back. Ali has come together with one of the biggest names recognized globally, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to support this cause. Ash, who has been associated with this cause for a few years is a known face globally and with Ali doing such good work internationally it was an easy choice to take him on as a Global Ambassador too. Together with their reach, the actors aim to reach more and more children who need the reconstruction surgery and hope slowly and steadily more smiles are transformed.

And I am so proud to be the new ambassador for this wonderful cause. In India, over 35,000 children are born with a cleft in a year. And this can be treated if they have the information.
