MUMBAI: Director Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The film will see real life couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt coming together for the first time for a film.
The fantasy drama reportedly will see Ranbir Kapoor playing the character of a man who has special powers. In the film, Ranbir is named Shiva, while Alia is named Isha.
The film revealed its logo at Kumbh on Mahashivaratri.
Meanwhile, Ayan made a debut on Instagram and shared a first glimpse from the movie. Yes, his first post is about his film Brahmastra. He shared a cartoon picture which seems to be of Alia and Ranbir’s characters from the movie.
He captioned, “Part 1: Love #brahmastra (P.S.: going to take some getting used to this new Instagram life).”

Also starring Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna in pivotal roles, Brahmastra is scheduled to release this December.
