MUMBAI: The film, Bunty Aur Babli, was immensely loved by the audience. It stars Rani Mukerji and Abhishek Bachchan in the lead roles.  After 14 years, now, the film will have a sequel. Now, according to the latest reports, the sequel will be set in today’s time.  

According to a report in Pinkvilla, Bunty Aur Babli's sequel will be set in today’s time. The makers are looking forward to package and present the film for today’s young audience. The sequel will take a huge time leap forward. It has now been confirmed that Siddhant Chaturvedi is the new Bunty. The actor became a heartthrob among the younger fans with his electrifying performance as MC Sher in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy.

The production house is rebooting this film completely. The report further stated that given the film and the role the actor definitely comes across as the perfect casting for this sequel. Everyone is now looking forward to see who the new Babli is.
