MUMBAI: Good news for the diehard fans of the film Hera Pheri! The shooting of the third installment of the film will begin soon.

Hera Pheri is a comedy film that released in 2000. It is a remake of 1989 Malayalam film Ramji Rao Speaking. Helmed by Priyadarshan, Hera Pheri features Sunil Shetty, Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Tabu.  

The second installment, called Phir Hera Pheri, released in 2006, and over the years it has become a cult classic. In fact, the film fetched the Best Comedian Award to Paresh Rawal.

Now, gear up for the third installment as Director Indra Kumar has confirmed that the amazing trio of Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal will reunite and the shooting of the film will begin this year.         

Confirming the development, Indra Kumar said to a portal, “I’m happy that the favourite trio is coming back together. We start the film towards the end of this year. It’s currently being scripted. I was completely cut off from that project for the last three months because I was busy with Total Dhamaal.”

He further shared with the daily that the film will have special effects. “So, it will definitely be bigger and better and involve heavy VFX. I’m expecting people to enjoy the film as much,” said Indra Kumar.
