MUMBAI: We all know that Vikrant Massey is an extremely talented actor. He has been appreciated for his work in Death in a Gunj, Lootera, and Mirzapur. However, while he is a great actor, he's not an A-lister yet.

Given Deepika’s obsession with acting with only top Bollywood stars, when she was told about him being cast in Chhapaak by Meghna Gulzar, we thought she would refuse. But fortunately, the actress is no longer affected by this criterion.

Let us remind you that Vicky Kaushal had almost been finalized to play Shahid Kapoor's role in Padmaavat, but Deepika had voiced her displeasure about sharing screen space with him as she felt he wasn't an A-lister then.

So is Deepika finally comfortable about being paired with non top league stars? The reason could be any, but we are happy that she corrected her past mistakes and look forward to seeing this power couple rock the box office.
