Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone is undoubtedly one of the busiest actors in Bollywood with a chock-a-bloc schedule that has seen her globetrotting regularly. And after the super success last year, Deepika has more on her plate than she can handle. On the flip side, being busy has kept Deepika away from her family making her miss most festivals.

And just when it looked like this year too she would give Diwali a miss owing to the release of Happy New Year, news now trickles in that the lovely lady would actually be spending time with family and relatives in Bangalore for Diwali.

A source close to the actress informs that Deepika has completed her commitments just to make sure she can go back home to celebrate Diwali with her family this year. Deepika reportedly would be spending two days at home in Bangalore and celebrating the festival with aplomb which also happens to be her family's favourite festive occasion. Interestingly, all her family members have names that mean light – Deepika, Prakash, Anisha and Ujjala.

When contacted, Deepika confirmed the news and said, "I will spend Diwali with my family every year and this year again we'll all be together. It’s a festival I really look forward to."

Wish you a very Happy Diwali, Deepika.
