All eyes were on Hrithik Roshan when he made an appearance at the launch of ‘Bang Bang inspired Pantaloons Limited Edition Collection’ event last Saturday along with co-star Katrina Kaif. Sporting a neat pony tail and tight tee that showed off his python biceps, Hrithik looked every bit the Greek God that he is often called in the industry. While everyone including the media waited with bated breath expecting Hrithik to dance especially after the release of his new tribute to Michael Jackson in Bang Bang, a wave of collective disappointment descended over the audience when Hrithik stayed put and preferred not to shake a leg despite being repeatedly beseeched to do so by emcee Siddharth Kannan . Finally after much persuasion Hrithik agreed to dance but with his eyebrows and moved them rhythmically to the beats of Bang Bang much to the delight of all those present. What however didn't escape our notice was Hrithik's ginger steps while walking the ramp taking care not to hurt his legs. The actor infact, also pointed out to his feet when Siddharth asked him to dance indicating that his legs were not strong enough to break into a jig. A conversation with Shital Mehta, CEO of Pantaloons threw light on the real reason behind Hrithik's refusal to dance. Shital told us that Hrithik underwent an operation early last week to get his injured leg repaired and hence he couldn't dance but being a true professional he chose to attend the event instead of cancelling it. Though the exact nature of Hrithik's injury and operation remain a mystery, sources suggest that it could be a ligament tear. Shital Mehta remained unavailable for any further comment and our text messages to Hrithik about the operation also went unanswered.
