MUMBAI: Shah Rukh Khan has been ruling the Bollywood industry since a long time.  He is admired by his fans not just for his work, but also for his personality. The actor, who was recently honoured at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne with Excellence in Cinema award, was last seen in Zero.

The actor is on a break from his professional commitments after the debacle of Zero. Not just Zero, even a couple of his films like Jab Harry Met Sejal, Raees, didn’t do as expected at the box-office. But the actor, who has been on the throne for so many years, is not bogged down by it at all. Instead, the actor is now more passionate to narrate better stories on screen.

What do you think about this Showtee ?

During his interaction at the 10th edition of Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, he said, “What drives me to do a film is the people around me who make such a great cinema... And I think I have a huge amount of capacity to do some really good cinema. I have 20-25 years of good cinema left in me.”

Speaking about the debacle of Zero and his short break from work, he further added, ‘’I just finished the last film I made and to put it lightly, it was a disaster. I said to myself that let me enjoy a little bit of un-success as I had success for so long. So I have taken some time off for the next four or five months. As a matter of fact, I’m on these breaks... Coming here (Melbourne) and meeting people, realising and discovering new stories, doing intellectual speaking.”
