MUMBAI: Karan Johar’s iconic movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, which released in 1998, is a popular love story that has a presence even today. The movie starred Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukherjee, and Kajol in lead roles.

The story revolves around two college best friends (Shah Rukh and Kajol). When another girl (Rani) joins their college, their love story takes a dramatic twist.

The film is remembered even now for its stellar cast, great music, and fabulous performances.

The movie completed 20 years today. As per sources, Karan recently stated that if a sequel were made, he would like to cast Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Janhvi Kapoor.

Recently he posted scenes from the film on Instagram with a beautiful caption: ‘This film marks my love for cinema. From Pyaar and Dosti and everything in between.’

We completely agree. The film defined pyaar and dosti for an entire generation. Karan also thanked his fans for all the love and support.
