Radio channel organizes special screening of Sui Dhaaga for listeners

KOLKATA: Recently, ‘Tecno Mobile presents Mirchi Movie Nights’ held an exclusive screening of Sui Dhaaga for listeners of the radio channel. The Bollywood film stars Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma.

The evening was a star-studded affair and glamourous affair. The listeners watched the movie along with artists such as Anjana Basu, Sidhu, Ishaa Basu, Bishwanath, and Rupankar Saha.

Hosted and entertained by the talented duo of RJ Agni and RJ Somak, Mirchi Movie Nights organized some fun-activities too.

Commenting on the initiative, Nitin Singh, Regional Director, North and East, Radio Mirchi, said, ‘We want our listeners to enjoy the most seamless and exclusive movie experiences. Sui Dhaaga is the story of a married couple, Mauji (Varun) and Mamta (Anushka). The film revolves round the rollercoaster journey of the two—from being penniless to building their own company. The film is a special salute to the innate entrepreneurial courage that the youth of India and the country’s local artisans possess. It is helmed by the National award-winning producer–director duo of Maneesh Sharma and Sharat Katariya.
