MUMBAI: It’s very rare that Bollywood actors get a chance to work with their family members on screen.

There is a buzz doing the rounds that director Imtiaz Ali is all set to make a sequel to the super-hit movie Love Aaj Kal and has roped in Sara Ali Khan to the play the female lead. Now, some reports suggest that Saif Ali Khan might also be a part of the movie.

As per an entertainment portal, the audience will get to see Saif and Sara working together for the first time in Imtiaz’s film. Saif has been roped in to play an important role in the rom–com. It’s not just a cameo but a full-fledged role. He will play the role of Sara’s father on-screen as well.

In the previous film, Rishi Kapoor had an important part in Saif and Deepika’s love story.

It was an obvious call, given that it is Love Aaj Kal 2 and that the core idea of the plot remains the same.

‘Like Rishi Kapoor in the original, Saif, too, will have a prominent part in Sara and Kartik’s relationship here,’ the source said.
