A reading glass sporting SRK is history now. The actor has underwent a corrective eye surgery to rectify his short sightedness.
The surgery was performed by renowned eye surgeon Dr. Burjor Banaji, who had earlier attended and treated SRK for a mild eye infection (early last year).
SRK medically suffered from myopia what is commonly known short sightedness. The superstar had to use glasses while reading and used to wear a stylish red frame spectacles. But perhaps the actor thought it wise to get rid of those cumbersome glasses and get back his normal vision.
The surgery was reportedly conducted at Dr. Banaji's clinic at Ballard Estate. SRK is reportedly doing fine now and have been advised a week's rest. Among the many things that he has been asked to avoid include television and computers for longer duration.
SRK took to Twitter to express his gratitude for the good doctor.
"A big thank you to Dr. Burjor Banaji & his lovely wife for doing my surgery. It's so good, that now I can read even between the lines."
Though the surgery went off well, SRK seems to be suffering from post surgery side effects for the moment.
"A little out focus post the eye surgery. Elbowing looks like embraces..this bed rest thingy has altered my reality completely. Day nite seem the same as long as curtains are drawn. Coffee to sleep maybe."
Get well soon, SRK.
