After Riteish Deshmukh, it is his Grand Masti partner Vivek Oberoi who has been signed on YRF to star in Bank Chor. The film also marks the return of Vivek Oberoi to the YRF fold 12 years after Saathiya happened. In the movie, Vivek will be seen playing a CBI Officer who brings about a twist in bank chor Riteish Deshmukh's life by taking him head on. Speaking on the new development, Ashish Patil, Business & Creative Head, Youth Films, Brand Partnerships & Talent Management at Yash Raj Films was quoted saying, "The game just got bigger with Vivek hitting the Bank Chor crime scene. Vivek brings his A-Game to whatever he does, and with this character that's signature rockstar badass Vivek, he's going to set the screen on fire. We're thrilled to welcome him to the party!" Bank Chor which was supposed to be comedian Kapil Sharma's debut vehicle has generated immense buzz after Kapil was unceremoniously booted out. Riteish was signed on as his replacement and Rhea Chakraborty will play the female lead. With Vivek Oberoi joining the cast now, Bank Chor just got more interesting. The movie is scheduled to go on the floors immediately and is planned for an early 2015 release. We wonder if Grand Masti's only other denizen, Aftab Shivdasani too would be drafted in?
