No idol worship for Shakti

Shakti Anand

He may be the God-fearing, puja-doing Shivam in Godh Bharai but in real life Shakti Anand doesn’t believe in idol worship. Tired of people’s jibes, Shivam performs a puja so that his wife can conceive but in real life, Anand says, “I don’t believe in pujas at all. I do a puja once in a blue moon. All this is just superstition. A prayer or ritual can’t change someone’s destiny. Today, we have various options available. If you can’t conceive, you can always adopt a child. Besides, the pati vrata patni is limited to reel life only. I’m not a demanding husband. I believe in providing space to my spouse.”
