Amit Jain steps into Kuchh Is Tara

Amit Jain who is currently seen on Smriti Irani’s Mere Apne on 9X will enter in Balaji’s Kuchh Is Tara .

Talking about his character, Amit says “I play Chinmay Ghorpade who is Kanya’s (Dimple Jhangiani) best friend. My character Chinmay is a happy-go-lucky guy. I lovingly call Kanya Chutki while she calls me Chunnu. I had left for U.S.A for studies and return four years later on Holi. Chinmay is a prankster and a fun-loving person. His philosophy in life is making everyone around him happy. It is a very important character as it will bring a major twist to the tale”

This is Amit’s second innings with Balaji. The actor says, “I started my acting career with Balaji’s Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. I played the role of Ketan opposite Tina Parekh, a cameo that lasted for a month. Back then, I was a little nervous working with actors who I have grown up watching but gradually I became more comfortable. Now that I am back at Balaji, I am a lot more confident and comfortable working with the actors.”

His entry is expected to air on 1st April on Sony.
