Anjum Farooki is engaged

Here is some good news for the fans of Anjum Farooki aka Gauri of Colors’ Balika Vadhu. Few days back a lot of drama unfolded when the holder of Anjum’s fake FB account updated a status that she is in a relationship with her co-star Shashank Vyas. Really, strange is the world of internet. However, later Anjum, went on to update in her real FB account the she is engaged.

Yes, you guys can wish her all the luck. Now, this journo-turned actress moved from being “single” to “engaged” a month back on 3 February 2012.

“She is engaged to a merchant navy officer. The date of marriage is yet to be fixed. The union was arranged by both their parents,” informed a source.

We called up Anjum to congratulate her and get a confirmation but she refused to talk about her personal life.
