Fans of Disney’s popular show, <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/red-chillies-idiot-box-back-ishaan>Ishaan</a>, will soon get to meet the original ‘King of Disco’ <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/snippets/bappi-s-sona-makes-stage-rona>Bappi Lahiri</a>. It would be his first appearance playing a fictitious character in a TV series. Bappi<em>da</em> will be seen as the ‘<em>Maharaja</em> of Disco Land’, who decides to crown the ‘Yaari’ band as ‘The future of Disco’. In addition to the special appearance, he will also record an original track titled D.I.S.C.O for the show.

Fans of Disney’s popular show, Ishaan, will soon get to meet the original ‘King of Disco’ Bappi Lahiri. It would be his first appearance playing a fictitious character in a TV series. Bappida will be seen as the ‘Maharaja of Disco Land’, who decides to crown the ‘Yaari’ band as ‘The future of Disco’. In addition to the special appearance, he will also record an original track titled D.I.S.C.O for the show.
As viewers continue to experience the drama of the musical gang traveling the road to fame, there will be even more fun, excitement and lots of music when they meet interesting characters along the way such as the Maharaja of Disco Land played by Bappi Lahiri.
Says Bappida, “Disney has always created stories and characters like that of Ishaan, which everyone in the family enjoy. I am happy to be a part of Ishaan to entertain fans with my music, created especially for the show.”
Ishaan is the first musical in the kids’ space to air on Indian television. Interestingly, this is the second season. The show was created by writer Jaydeep Sarkar and season 2 is being directed by Anant Mahadevan.
