Chandragupta (Rishi Raj) hasn’t got admission in the gurukul yet, as the gurus there are not very convinced about him becoming the next king of Magadh. But, now things will turn in his favour in Chandragupta Maurya on Imagine, and he will be accepted in gurukul.

A source says, “Chanakya (Manish Wadhwa) had brought Chandragupta to gurukul long time back but since the gurus were not convinced he could be the next king, he had to go through a number of tests. He passed them with his intelligence and bravery but the gurus were still not sure of him but now they will be.

“As Dhanananda, the current king of Magadh does not want to see Chandragupta alive he had asked his minister Amatya Rakshas to take care of him. Amatya had sent Vishankh to kill Chandragupta but Chandragupta not only defeated him but also killed him. Hence, now the same gurus will praise him, who once doubted his capability. But, his act will not just earn him praises he will also get entry in gurukul, that’s named Takshashila. He will be accepted by Pradhan Acharya and his training will begin.

“But since Chandragupta is younger than all the other students in gurukul, he will have to work harder than the other kids there. One will see him working hard and also matching up to the others and getting a distinction in every task he performs. Chanakya will be tough to him so that he manages to do every task independently. Chanakya will show him the ways to complete the task but he will ask him to complete them on his own.”

Manish says, “Yes, he will get admission in the gurukul, I am not telling you what happens next.”
