Choti Bahu returns to Zee

It has been just two months that Zee’s popular show Choti Bahu went off air and rumour mills are a buzz with the news of its comeback. The news is Deeya and Tony Singh and the channel are gearing up to bring the show back with its original leads Avinash Sachdev and Rubina Dilaik. A source reveals,” The show left on a high note and with decent TRP’s. Fans also wanted the show to comeback and were very upset when it went off air. We are now planning to get the show back and have already signed on Rubina and Avinash. The duo will be back as Dev and Radhika and the casting for the other characters is on. We might retain a few faces and some newer faces will also be seen in the show.” Adds another source,” The channel has also given the nod for the show. The show is definitely on and the shooting for the same will commence sometime in December and should go on air by the first week of January.” We contacted Rubina who seemed clueless. Says Dilaik,”I am hearing this news from the media itself. We haven’t got any official intimation on this. But if the makers are planning to get the show back then I am more than happy to be a part of it.” We sent a text message to Tony Singh who did not revert, meanwhile Sukesh Motwani, Head of Fiction, Zee says,” I will not confirm anything and will only tell you when the time is right.”
