Close sibling bonding in Amita Ka Amit

Amita, of Amita Ka Amit (Swastik Productions), is lucky to have a loving and protective elder brother Atul (enacted by Karan Trivedi). He gives her a reality check when she is misleading herself by dreaming too big. Simultaneously, he is also aware of the fact that every girl has a right to dream and that includes his sister Amita.

Aays Karan, “Amita and Karan share a typical brother-sister relationship; they fight a lot but are also concerned about one another. He understands that like every other girl, his sister also dreams of a nice guy in her life. Their conservative family want Amita to marry a guy whom her dadaji approves of, but Karan realises that Amita should marry the guy she likes.”

Amita’s brother’s fiancée Kajal, enacted by Lekha Rachh, is also a caring to-be-sister-in-law who wants to see Amita happily married. Talking about her character, Lekha avers, “Kajal is a chirpy and talkative girl who doesn’t watch her words; she often, inadvertently, hurts people in the process. Once she realises her mistakes, she apologies to the concerned person right away. I love the fact that my character has many dialogues; in real life, I am a big chatterbox.”
