Colors woos Great Khali for their reality show

It’s believed that after cricket the next most viewed sport on television is wrestling. Cashing on to this is Colors who are soon to launch 100 %, a reality show that will pit muscle men slugging it out against each other.

As per reports, the channel is trying to rope in World Wrestling Entertainment’s Indian superstar The Great Khali (Dalip Singh Rana) for this show. The shoot for his show will take place in South Africa. Local South African wrestlers too will be part of the show. The wrestlers finalised are Kilimanjaro, Nightmare, Skull Fury, Exterminator. Jason Steele, Tornado and Ananzi. These are unheralded names to Indian TV audiences who are usually glued to action only from WWE. These men are part of South Africa’s World Wrestling Professionals (WWP).

100 % will not just feature slam bang action there’ll be plenty of drama too.

Colors programming head Ashvini’s Yardi says, “A fusion concept where drama meets reality, muscle power meets willpower, anger meets angst, confidence meets forced composure, force meets fear and fate meets about-face. It’s one show where you'll be forced to take sides - you want be with the 'icons' or do you want to support the 'I-cans.”
