Tasneem Sheikh is back to bad

Tasneem Sheikh spewed venom as Daljeet chachi in Kis Des Mein Hai Meraa Dil and Heer (Additi Gupta) was her bane of existence. Sheikh who was on a maternity break is back to make life hell for everyone (we mean the characters) in the show. Apparently, she will be seen only for five episodes as she is back only to avenge her daughter Ashlesha’s (Mihika Verma) lost pride. Ashlesha has dragged Prem to the court accusing him of attempting rape on her.

Says an elated Sheikh, “Daljeet is back to create troubles in Heer’s life. She can never have a change of heart as then there would be nothing left in the character. I am there for just four to five episodes as I have my little baby to look after. The track required my character to return, push the story and here I am. I am not allowed to divulge any details about my track.”

So when is returning to the small screen for good? “I had worked for 12 years without a break and now I can afford at least a 12-month break. I want to spend some time with my daughter and see her growing up. I have got back into shape and in all probability I would make a comeback in February, 2010. I won’t be overambitious after my return and will only do quality work.”

With Sheikh back on the show we are sure of another kahani mein twist.
