Gopi Desai in Endemol India's Devki for Life OK

Endemol India will soon come up with a unique fiction show for Life OK in the coming months. The show titled Devki is about a girl who gets trapped amidst a mysterious wave on the night of her wedding, after which her life sees a sea-change. A certain section of the media has already reported about Rohit Purohit playing the lead in the show. Also, it has been reported that Shafaq Naaz is most likely to play the female lead. We now hear that veteran actress Gopi Desai has been roped in to essay a pivotal role, which is something that she has never played before. The pilot will be shot soon in Madhya Pradesh, which will be the first episode of the show which will depict the wedding of the female lead. When contacted, Gopi Desai confirmed that she is part of the show, and said, “I think it is too early to talk about the show. I will speak to you when the time is right.” Life OK has few fiction launches lined up in Shakuntalam Telefilms’ Rakshak, Sphere Origins’ Chabbis Barah, Filmfarm Productions’ Savitri apart from Endemol India’s Devki.
