Happy days are here for Gopi

It pays to be a number one show on a channel. It certainly did for Saath Nibhana Saathiya on Star Plus as the latter handpicked the “highest rated” show to enjoy a 10-day trip to Switzerland. The cast and crew of 35 members left last night and will be back on the 28th of this month.

But of course, it’s not going to be an all play no work scenario for the team as they have to shoot some key portions of the show. The storyline is this: the men of the family are off to Switzerland on a business trip and the women of the house have decided to tag along. Also, our source says, “The Switzerland trip looks like a new beginning for both Gopi and Ahem. Throughout the show we have seen that despite doing many things for the family, Ahem has always ignored Gopi. But, now it seems Koki will ensure they get closer. Koki has already decided to take Gopi along with her to Switzerland. She will not only keep an eye on Rashi’s (Rucha Hasabnis) move but also bridge the gap between Gopi and Ahem.”

Well, we hope, the romantic Switzerland does wonders to Gopi’s relationship with Ahem and the other producers too are pulling up their socks to earn such trips.
