Is the honeymoon over for Shraddha and Karan?

It was a fairy tale romance between the hot hunk Karan and the petite Shraddha. The courtship ended in a quiet wedding which not many were aware of. As lead of Dill Mil Gayye Karan had attracted a multitude of female fans. Shraddha too in her own way was liked by people within and outside of the industry. It was just after their wedding that Karan particpaited in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3 and one always saw his ever smiling wife Shraddha cheering him from the sidelines. But sources confirm that unfortunately that was precisiely the beginning of break point in their marriage.

So what was it that soured this relationship? Rather who was responsible for the breakdown? Sources close to the couple inform that all is certainly not well with the couple. Though minor arguments are a common occurence in any relationship, for the Grovers the water is rising. TellyChakkar heard of this unfortunate news almost a month back but was of the view that things between the couple would be resolved. But as days went past it only got worse. And now it is heard that Karan is romoured to have moved in with buddy Sanjit Bedi and Shraddha is so devastated with what has happened that she is even contemplating a divorce.

So what is the real reason for this fallout? Like in most marriages that head for splitsville it is the presence of a third person. A person close to the couple requesting anonymity for obvious reasons spills the beans, " Karan has started dating his Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa choreographer Nicole. Both Karan and Nicole met on the sets of Jhalak… in February and hit it off instantly. Even their chemistry was appreciated a lot on the show and they gave some passionate performances too. They were friends initially but love blossomed after the show went off air."

Adding further the source says, “Some time back Karan bought two phones one which he used for official purposes and the other only to talk to Nicole. Soon Shraddha found out and she was shocked to see that there were calls and messages every five-ten minutes to Nicole. She had suspected that there was something brewing between Karan and Nicole. The phone confirmed her worst fears. She confronted Karan and he admitted that he had been cheating on her. Now Shraddha is in no mood to forgive or forget. She’s left heart broken. She also spent her birthday yesterday (1 October) very quietly. Both of them used to blog but they haven’t updated it since the past couple of months.”

The source informs that was after the phone incident that Karan moved out of their house and moved in with his best friend Sanjit Bedi who lives on Napean Sea Road.

We contacted Sanjit to confirm this and he said, “No, this is not at all true. Yes, Karan is my best friend and he comes to my house very often, but he is not staying with me. Also I am the wrong person to comment on this and I am not aware of any friction between the two. I just hope that the news you gave me is simply not true.”

Another source from the sets of Dill Mill Gaye says, “I am really very shocked to hear this news and I can’t believe my ears. Karan used to constantly be on his cell phone, but we thought he is chatting with his wife Shraddha as they were newly married. We even used to joke that he is a joru ka gulam, but we never realised that it’s not Shraddha but Nicole”.

The source further adds, “A few weeks ago while we were shooting for some major scenes he used to come late everyday. Once I heard him saying that it’s too hectic travelling from town.”

We also contacted Karan's cousin Jas Karan who said, “This is too personal to comment but yes there are some problems between the two of them. These problems are very petty just like a small tiff between any two lovers and I assure you that there is nothing major to it”.

When we asked him if he was aware of the fact that Karan was living with Sanjit he said, “I am not aware of this because I have not met him for a long time”.

Both Karan Singh Grover and Shraddha Nigam remained unavailable for comment.

We only hope that things get resolved between the couple and they celebrate their first anniversary (2 December) together.
