Manav Gohil turns producer with US cookery show

We’ve known him as Vikram in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki and as Vishal in Kkusum, apart from a host of other characters he has played on numerous other TV shows. Now, Manav Gohil is all ready to take up a new role – that of a producer and that to in the good old US of A. Sources told Tellychakkar.com that the dashing hunk - who is married to Shweta “Pallavi” Kawatra - is all set to produce a cookery TV show in the US for which he is seeking a broadcast partner there. When contacted, Manav confirmed that he had indeed been thinking about turning producer for some time. “Finally by God’s grace I have moved ahead and have started working on this cookery show. I am co-producing it. Production is still at an early stage but it is definitely happening. Hopefully, it will do well in the US and then I will be in a position to bring it to India as well. The show is open to the common public and the fact that we will be travelling throughout the States bodes well for it. My wife Shweta is also helping me on this project and it feels great to have her support.” Gohil clarified that his show is not based on the Master Chef format, adding that “it is an independent, original and interesting concept and I pray that audiences will like it.” Well, all we can say is that, it will be interesting to watch the cute dimpled actor’s progress with his cookery show over the next few months.
