Asit Modi's Neela Telefilms' current show Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma is a top grosser for SAB TV and now he has shifted loyalty to its elder brother, Sony TV. Modi is making a show for the channel to be aired sometime in January-February 2010.
Modi confirms the news and says, "Yes, I am making a show for Sony.
Though it's early to reveal details on the show all I can say is that it's not a comedy. I am in the process of casting for it. It will be a daily and will air on prime time. I will soon inform you about the other details."

Here's hoping the success of Taarak Mehta rubs off on the Sony show too and brings in the much-needed ratings to it.
